I strongly disagree with the position that D-9 is racist. This is Sci-Fi at its best, following in an artistic philosophy that emphasizes instructional and informative qualities in literature and other types of art. Sweeping generalizations of xenophobia is unfounded since the weakness in that argument stems from the assumption that it is not fiction. The noise coming out of the bottom rung of society in the movie is perhaps a reason for its overwhelmingly positive reviews from the critics. Please note,
